Pintail Ltd

Pintail Ltd (www.pintail.eu) is a software and services company based in Dublin. The company has over fifteen years of experience in the successful management and delivery of research and development projects; this includes projects funded under many different EU programmes, from Telematics to ACTS to FP6 to eTen. Key staff have worked for the Commission in Brussels in the role of ‘Expert', as well as carrying out EU evaluations and reviews, both as evaluator and consortium member.

In addition to project management expertise, Pintail has a successful track record in the planning and delivery of dissemination and exploitation work by research projects. This experience includes assisting projects with their business planning and exploitation work, as a subcontractor, as well as creation and delivery of dissemination materials, both as a partner and under subcontract.

Finally, Pintail has recently completed a major programme review and assessment exercise for the Commission, as well as providing evaluation and progress monitoring services to projects funded by the EU and by the Irish government. This evaluation expertise will be deployed in internal evaluation and progress assessment, an integral element of the PurStem management regime.

Ciaran Clissmann has 15 years of experience in the planning and delivery of EU projects across a wide range of programmes. Worked for the Commission as an Expert in DG INFSO for two years.
